Dear John
--
Israeli forces agreed to a ceasefire
late Sunday night, after
16
Palestinian children
in Gaza
had been killed. Then, Israeli forces
shot and killed two 16-year-old
Palestinian boys in the occupied West
Bank barely more than a day
later.
Hussein
Jamal Hussein Taha,
16,
was shot and killed by Israeli forces
while shopping for groceries
with his father and younger brother in
Nablus on Tuesday morning. A
few hours later in Hebron, 16-year-old Momen Yasin
Mohammad Joude Jaber
was
shot dead with a live round to the
chest with by an Israeli
soldier.
These
killings come just hours
after a brutal Israeli military
offensive on the Gaza Strip that
resulted in the deaths of 16
Palestinian children
ranging in age from three
to 16 years old. Despite agreeing to a
ceasefire, the killings have
not stopped.
Palestinian children in Gaza,
Nablus, Hebron, and elsewhere
deserve to grow up. We won't stop
advocating for accountability for
their killings, no matter how long it
takes.
In solidarity,
