Dear friends,
Israel’s assassination of Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh has shocked the world. A thorough investigation by CNN confirmed what Palestinian journalists on the ground said from the start: an Israeli soldier shot directly at Abu Akleh multiple times while she was clearly wearing a press vest.
It is highly unlikely this soldier shot Abu Akleh without an order from the very top of the Israeli military. It’s no wonder Israel has chosen not to investigate the incident. I write about this in several articles you can read below.
I was recently once again in Palestine. I made sure to proudly wave the Palestinian flag while thousands of Israelis were participating in the annual Flag March in Jerusalem shouting “Death to Arabs!”
