On the 5th, China announced the launch of the "Special Operation of Joint Patrol and Inspection in the Central and Northern Taiwan Strait", and dispatched the "Haixun 06" rescue ship and other ships to briefly cross the center line of the strait yesterday and head north to the Matsu waters. The Administration reassigned the Matsu Sea Patrol Team to monitor, but no Taiwanese ships have been boarded and inspected. President Tsai Ing-wen visited and met with the Speaker of the US House of Representatives McCarthy. China immediately announced the cruise operation, escalating the situation across the Taiwan Strait. In this regard, the Oceanic Commission and its maritime patrol agency have repeatedly appealed to China not to take any excessive actions, and dispatched a 4,000-ton Hsinchu ship to monitor.

[Reporter Hong Dinghong/Kaohsiung Report] On the 5th, China announced the launch of the "Special Operation of Joint Patrol and Inspection in the Central and Northern Taiwan Strait." The Matsu sea area was detoured, and the Maritime Patrol Administration reassigned the Matsu Sea Patrol Team to monitor, but no Taiwanese ships were found to be boarded and inspected.

It is understood that on the first day of the inspection operation, the "Haixun 06" rescue ship only circumnavigated the waters of Pingtan, Fujian Province, but on the second afternoon, about 70 miles west of Pengjiayu, it briefly crossed the middle line of the strait, and was captured by the Hsinchu ship the entire time. Parallel monitoring, only about 0.5 miles apart.
"Haixun 06" did not break into the 24-mile waters of Taiwan's "adjacent zone", and the Hsinchu ship did not drive away.
Later, "Hai Xun 06" went north along the central line of the strait to the Matsu waters. Today, on the third day, it almost patrolled in the Matsu waters.
Since there are often Chinese sand pirates in the Matsu waters, "Haixun 06" will cruise here, and there is nothing special about it. However, it has not been reported that any Taiwanese ships have been forcibly boarded and inspected.
