I just posted this on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQmT28sENZg,
which might be of interest, given Gar Alperovitz was recently awarded the Committee for the Republic’s Defender of Liberty Award.
It is extracted from the Tribute to Dan Ellsberg found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1c6hWgy2i4&t=1261s, but Diane Perlman and I agreed Gar merits a tribute of his own. I added a little editorial comment to put what he did in context, and to promote his books!
Without explaining in detail but going to YouTube’s dysfunctional system, sometimes, and sometimes not, I can upload a new video to this page:
https://www.youtube.com/@projectforthestudyofameric6761
and when not, to this, where Gar’s will be tonight:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCchiXkjmRWADG1W8BU9p-OQ
But the link at top goes to a personal page, unintentionally, and includes more of the soundtrack.
Next up will be Richard Falk and Craig Murray, as oral history interviews. Stay tuned.
