The United States has "taken control" of "Israel" and sought to establish the current war cabinet, Hamas' representative in Lebanon, Ahmad Abdel Hadi, told Al Mayadeen.
Abdel Hadi emphasized to Al Mayadeen that the US is managing the war in the Gaza Strip.
He revealed that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood is still in its early stages, adding that it will persist over an extended period. The Hamas official told Al Mayadeen that the Resistance is looking to enforce its deterrence against "Israel" through capabilities and tactics through the ones it has disclosed and those that remain undisclosed.
Moreover, Hamas' representative underlined that the US is looking to save "Israel" after it received a "strategic blow" during the Battle with the Palestinian Resistance.
On the Axis of Resistance and "Israel", the official noted that the latter has taken into consideration the capabilities of the Palestinian Resistance and the backing from the Axis of Resistance.
More specifically, Abdel Hadi said that Tehran and the Axis of Resistance has provided the needed political and strategic cover which allowed the Palestinian Resistance to translate its successful Operation into practical means.
He also said that the Resistance regained regional and international balance in the aftermath of the first week of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. The official emphasized that the Operation had halted pathways for normalization with "Israel" in the Arab World, adding that its end is subject to the results of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Regarding the developments and results of the Operation, Abdel Hadi stressed that no matter what the content of the offers that are made is, they "will not come at the expense of the strategic achievement of the Resistance." He also added that the Palestinian prisoners' file is a red line when it comes to any mediated ceasefire.
Hundreds of Israeli soldiers and commanders have been killed or captured after the Palestinian Resistance, headed by Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades launched a wide-scale attack on Israeli military sites in Gaza's Envelope.
The Operation came in response to the continued desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers protected by Israeli occupation forces, as well as stricter measures taken against Palestinian prisoners.
Since then, the Israeli military and political command has mulled a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, as it continues to take heavy blows in the Envelope and the Northern Front with Lebanon.
Instead, the IOF has resorted to targeting civilians and journalists, killing 2,670 in Gaza including 9 journalists.
Most recently, Hezbollah has announced its responsibility for several attacks that came in retaliation for "Israel's" targeting of civilian homes and journalists in South Lebanon.
The Resistance announced in a statement on Sunday that its fighters attacked the barracks of the "Hanita" settlement, destroying two Merkava tanks and a troop transport vehicle, resulting in a number of Israeli soldiers being killed and wounded.
