What follows is to “contextualize,” for the benefit of my right-wing critics here, this “Common Plan.” Quote from Haaretz article by Olmert: "The supreme aim of the far-right duo National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich is not the occupation of the Gaza Strip. . . . The ultimate aim of this gang is "purging" the West Bank of its Palestinian inhabitants, cleansing the Temple Mount of its Muslim worshippers and annexing the territories to the state of Israel. The way to achieve this goal is blood-soaked." So, there is a “Plan” behind their genocidal goal! Similar to what Mein Kampf was intended as! This “Plan” has a genealogy, one of those political theory words disliked by some here, but critically relevant to understand what is taking place in Israel, and in Israeli controlled Palestinian Territory, as Genocide. Under cover of the War, as its conception is explained well here: https://jewishphilosophyplace.com/2017/09/19/decision-plan-tikvah-fund-ethnic-cleansing-in-israel/ (from 2017 [genocide takes time to incubate]) (Decision Plan) Tikvah Fund & Ethnic Cleansing in IsraelQuote: "The article is about a recent rightwing plan, promoted by one Bezalel Smotrich, whose party belongs to Netanyahu’s ruling coalition, to annex all of the West Bank, to create there a formal apartheid system with the ultimate aim of encouraging ethnic cleansing. The interest lies not simply because the plan is odious, but that it was promoted in the pages of a Hebrew journal in Israel sponsored by the Tikvah Fund. “Smotrich’s plan was released September 6 in an 8,600-word lead essay, “The Decision Plan” (Tochnit Ha-Hachra’ah) in the fall issue of the Hebrew-language bimonthly Hashiloach, a conservative journal of ideas published by the New York-based Tikvah Fund. (Emphasis in original.) So “who," are the ideologues behind such an openly genocidal Plan? And what is the ideology (political theory) behind the organizational effort working to achieve this openly fascist goal? This helps explain it: "Back in the day, the Tikvah Fund and the people running its various organs and sister institutions in the United States (academic programs at Princeton and NYU, the Jewish Review of Books, Tablet) pretended that their sole interest was “Jewish ideas.” In fact, the agenda was always to introduce, under the radar, conservative ideas into the American university system and American Judaism via Jewish Studies. That caravan finally moved on to Israel, where the ultra nationalist agenda is now transparent. As reported here, (see first Haaretz article below) the far-right agenda is to cripple the power of the Israeli judiciary in the interest of the Israel Is The Nation-State of the Jewish People idea and the Jewish settlement project in the occupied West Bank. . . . . "I never understood how the authority fetish in contemporary Jewish thought could be decoupled from authoritarianism. While I won’t speak here to the history of Jewish law as a loose social canon, coupled with the political, there is a definite connecting link between the contemporary Jewish law idea and fascism." So who personally is that "connecting link” as the political theorist promoting such fascist ideas? This might explain it, with his continuing links to Princeton University from his time there in the 1980s as a Conservative, which with a comparative political theory analysis, it is evident the “Conservative” whose ideas were most influential on Hazony was, wait for it . . . Willmoore Kendall. Whose anti-Enlightenment ideas preceded Hazony’s with its source plainly the same, just like his mentor’s Leo Strauss, from Carl Schmitt. With the same extreme hostility to “Rights,” Human and Constitutional both. Especially First Amendment Rights for the U.S. ! But for our “New Rightists,” who haven’t had time yet to study Hazony in greater depth, and aren’t bothered by, or even welcome, his innate Fascism, here is a Tikvah Fund course he teaches (“nationalism” in itself isn’t fascist; Hazony’s Nationalism is “Fascist,” per its political theory base). (Hold any claims that Kendall’s political theory couldn’t possibly have anything to do with Hazony, because Kendall died in 1967, and Hazony wasn’t at Princeton reading “Conservative Sacred Texts” until . . . the early to mid-1980s. That’s as insane as saying Marx had no influence on Lenin, for similar reasons. It’s the “text” that lives on, and used as indoctrination of succeeding generations. Like Kendall is being used to indoctrinate young Trumpists/Straussians of today.) "Course overview"Political philosopher and best-selling author Dr. Yoram Hazony explores the idea of nationalism from its biblical roots to its modern revival." Explained further here: Is Hazony alone as representative of the Tikvah Fund “weltanschauung?” Not at all, as this expresses it quite well: Israel at War: A Special Tikvah Briefing with Elliott Abrams "As one of the preeminent foreign policy experts and policymakers on Israel and the Middle East, Mr. Abrams provided an overview of the origins, strategic objectives, and opening tactical maneuvers of this war. Looking at Hamas and the Palestinians, Iran and the region, Israel and the United States, Mr. Abrams analyzed what's happened, and helped us understand what may come next. . . .
If I were preparing a War Crimes Tribunal Indictment against all those who either committed Genocide/Crimes Against Humanity, Incited them, or were Complicit in them, using the legal standards pushed by Conservatives since 2001, “everyone” who has even the slightest connection to Hazony, Tikvah, and the Federalist Society, and other US “Conservative” organizations pushing the Israeli fascist line for decades, would be at or near the top of the list!
