The 51-second video clip transmitted below offers further
evidence that, so long as President Biden remains capable of
reading a prepared script, he should not, under any
circumstances, take his eyes off that script.

It is possible for the optimistic among us to view this
latest gaffe, which would be certain to be featured
prominently, along with others before and after, in
Republican campaign ads, as an encouraging potential
tipping-point.
Coupled with the poll results released today by the NEW YORK
TIMES, which show Trump leading Biden by 5% (48% to 43%)
nationwide, 47% of voters "strongly disapproving" of Biden's
handling of his job and only 23% of Democrats "enthusiastic"
about having Biden as their party's nominee while 48% of
Republicans are "enthusiastic" about having Trump as their
nominee
(https://www.nytimes.com/2024/03/02/us/politics/biden-trump-times-siena-poll.html),
it is conceivable that those who make the decisions for the
Democratic Party might finally realize that it is in their
own personal self-interests (all that matters!) to offer the
American people a presidential choice other than one between
two dotards who combine mental debility with moral
depravity.
As always, one must hope.
