Democrats waited too long. Seems to me they prefer to lose the election rather than lose face.  Both parties are examples of bad judgements. I think campaign has corrupted US politics, maybe irremediably.

Tsk, compare Biden’s mess with those of Sunak, Macron, Scholz or Kishida — not to mention recent events in Nairobi and La Paz.  This is really a difficult year for elected politicians just about everywhere. The Democratic Party can, if it feels responsible, get itself a new candidate. But will it?   WM
