The two-state solution was an illusion Israel needed to counter accusations of apartheid. Now that the official position of the Israeli govt is that there will be no two-state solution, now that the occupation is officiallypermanent, now that Israel is claiming sovereignty over millions of people deprived of civil and political rights due to their ethnicity, it is an unabashed, dictionary-definition apartheid state (though, to be fair, South Africa never abused its subject population w/anything like the cruelty and brutality of the Israelis).
BREAKING: The Israeli Knesset passed a resolution opposing the two state solution. 68 members of Knesset (including Benny Gantz and his party) voted in favor. Only 9 members of Knesset voted against. This is the first time in history that the Knesset passes such a resolution
