The Al-Mujahideen Resistance movement hailed the significant and heroic operationscarried out in the Gush Etzion and Karmei Tzur settlements in northern al-Khalil, in the occupied West Bank, which resulted in confirmed casualties among Israeli ranks, including the commander of the Etzion Regional Brigade.
The Resistance movement, in a statement, affirmed that the operations were "a firey message from the free Palestinian people to the enemy's fascist government," and a natural response to the violent Israeli crimes in the West Bank, the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and the continued attempts at Judaization and aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied al-Quds.
The operations also reflect the growing revolutionary sentiment and increasing confrontations in Palestine against the Israeli enemy forces, which further reaffirm that the people of Palestine continue fighting on the path of Resistance, the statement said. "The enemy's attempts and plots to break their [Palestinian people's] will and determination to resist and achieve liberation will fail."
The Al-Mujahideen movement further considered that the operations were "another blow to the arrogant enemy's security and intelligence apparatuses." It warned the Israeli occupation to prepare for floods of strikes and confrontation axes "from the unknown" and to expect escalations in operations and blows carried out by the people and the Resistance everywhere.
"As the enemy attacks in the North, the response will come from the South."
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement (PIJ) said the occupation spreading fabrications and media deception to tone down the security failure it suffered at the hands of the Resistance fighters "does not change a thing", noting that these attempts humiliate the occupation's political and security facets.
All of the enemy's attempts to destroy the Resistance in the West Bank or Gaza will only yield failures, the PIJ added, stressing that the crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers only fuel the Resistance.
In turn, the Palestinian Resistance Committees also praised the operations as the embodiment of the Palestinian people and the Resistance's determination, noting that Israeli assassinations will only cement their will and right to resist.
The Al-Ahrar movement also lauded the dual operation in al-Khalil, saying it showcased the growing and developing Resistance in the occupied West Bank, which pounds the Israeli occupation incessantly everywhere.
The operation was a "clear message to the enemy gambling on the Resistance's suffocation: The Resistance is present across all axes, strikes whenever and however it wants, and dictates the timing, setting, and methods under which it carries out its operations."
The movement cautioned "Israel", saying that while the occupation thinks it has strangled the Resistance with ethnic cleansing and genocidal crimes, it should expect escalations in stronger and more painful operations against its soldiers and settlers.
The movement called for more individual and dual operations and escalations in confrontations, as a response to the ongoing Israeli crimes. It further called for the instigation of fear, balanced with deterrence, which would foil the occupation and its ploys.
The Fatah movement also echoed the factions’ commendation, assuring that the Israeli entity will never experience stability over Palestinian land, regardless of the sacrifices.
On its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said that the al-Khalil operation demonstrates the proactive and ceaseless presence of the Resistance across the occupied West Bank, noting that it was rapidly advancing and developing its capabilities by the day.
"The Zionists must realize that they will drown in the West Bank’s mire, as they are in Gaza."
Earlier, the Hamas movement announced that "the heroic dual operation that took place tonight near Gush Etzion and Karmei Tzur settlement, north of al-Khalil, is a clear message that the Resistance will continue to be strong, far-reaching and persistent as long as the brutal aggression of the [Israeli] occupation and its targeting of our people and our land continues."
In their statement, the movement stressed that the operation further sought to "reaffirm to the occupation that it cannot isolate any part of the homeland and that the heroic reservoir of our people and resistance in the West Bank will surprise the occupation at every time and place."
This brave operation, Hamas said in its press release, dealt the occupation’s security apparatus a significant blow, particularly given the current high state of readiness.
Moreover, it underscored that "the [Israeli] entity, which will not enjoy security on our land and will receive more painful blows from our heroic Resistance."
The statement came after Israeli media announced that four Israeli occupation soldiers fell casualty during the operation, including Etzion Regional Brigade commander, Colonel Gal Rich.
Gal Rich had assumed the leadership of the Etzion Brigade only two weeks ago, according to Palestinian local media. The Brigade was formed after the ignition of the first Intifada and was tasked with arresting Palestinians and raiding Palestinian territories, while also securing Israeli settlements in al-Khalil and Beit Lahm.
Rich also fought in the 2006 July War on Lebanon, as well as the battles of Aita al-Shaab, Markaba, and Bint Jbeil, before returning to the Kfir Brigade, an elite infantry force. He later led the Oz Brigade, formed by former Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot in 2015, which was merged with special forces to carry out extra-frontline missions and operations. Before joining the Etzion Brigade, the Israeli commander participated in the ongoing genocide and aggression against Gaza.
