I received a not unexpected response to my email yesterday in which I wrote, in part: "as the intersection of Bozell’s/Kendall’s “Traditional Conservatism,” with Yoram Hazony’s “National Conservatism.” Or, after being broke down as political theory: Fascism. There are many ideological proponents here of Hazony’s brand of “Conservatism” that he and his fellow right-wing fanatics call National Conservatism, which folds into itself all the other “Conservative” variations, . . . with its intended fulfillment # 2, the “Conservative Revolution” currently underway under Trump/Vance), Kevin Robert and Project 2025. Willmoore Kendall’s and Yoram Hazony’s “political theory” are both attributed as the ideological source of Trumpism and Vance’s core ideology:"

The response came from a self-identified "Traditional Conservative,” who zealously supported Trump (and Jeff Sessions) as “Traditional Conservatives” during the first Trump administration, and later switched to supporting DeSantis (as less “transactional,” meaning more “ideological" I presume) so celebrated by the National Conservatives and their flagship media platform, The American Conservative magazine.

The response was: "you just can't resist trying to link traditional conservatives(who are long deceased and cannot respond) with neocon warmongers and Israeli hardliners in support of Israeli actions in Gaza. As one who knew many of those founders of National Review, I can confidently say your smear of their names by false blame on them for the Israel government's atrocities tells me a lot about what kind of person you are.”

Let me be clear. My condemnation of “Traditional Conservatives” today, is of the self-identified “Traditional Conservatives” who support the most zealous Radical-Right Zionist President the U.S. ever had in its history, Donald J. Trump, to be elected again as POTUS. With his hand-picked running mate, so heavily promoted by the Quincy Institute and The American Conservative magazine even more supportive of Israeli fascism and their genocidal project., J.D. Vance. Who even more than Israeli Settler Yoram Hazony now, has to be recognized as the most prominent and influential National Conservative on the planet, with the NatCons merely an extension of the Israeli fascist coalition governing Israel today, and their “ideological infrastructure” of Kananists and NatCon/Settlers.

What relevance to that is “Traditional Conservatism?” It’s because there is what appears to be a concerted “propaganda effort” (cognitive operation, in today’s terminology) to “normalize” the ultra-militaristic founders of the Conservative Movement (identified here: https://chroniclesmagazine.org/polemics-exchanges/defense-of-bill-buckley/) as mere “Foreign Policy Restrainers,” when the historical truth is the exact opposite! And as I’ve shared here recently, Buckley’s post-hoc criticism of the Iraq War, was purely because we lost, and he as its greatest supporter had to explain that away. In doing so, he made a point that the failure shouldn’t be taken as undermining his f-ing “postulates,” or to cause us to hesitate to do the same again, but “next time” get get someone else to do the “cleaning up of our mess! (See National Review articles I’ve shared in the past.” As far as National Review being “taken over” by NeoCons, using the definition of “Neoconservatism,” it was founded as the first NeoCon rag/propaganda platform, by Trotskyites/Communists Willmoore Kendall, James Burnham, Frank S. Meyer, and Bill Buckley, the only one who hadn’t detoured from the “Left,” but was fascist from the start! With all but maybe Meyer becoming devotees of the post-WW II remaining fascists, Franco, and for Kendall, also Trujillo.

It was today’s Trumpite “anti-Neocons” who proclaimed Trump an anti-Neocon, even while his first (and continuing) acts was to increase military spending beyond the “wartime” levels they already were at, and to send Gen. Flynn on a “mission” on behalf of Netanyahu to attempt to persuade the Russian UN Ambassador to block a vote criticizing Israel! The logical conclusion I drew, was that we now had something even worse than Neoconservatism: the original ultra-hawkish Traditional Conservatism of Buckley, Burnham, and Kendall, now in the person of Trump and the Trumpite Movement, allied with Israeli fascists!

Borne out subsequently with the “New Right Coalition” of Hazony, Trump, Vance, Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, and other Israeli Kahanists, and promoted arduously, and falsely as “Restrainers,” by the Quincy Institute and The American Conservative magazine, fueled by Charles Koch and Peter Thiel funding. With those two our most prominent individuals doing battle against BDS, in the case of Koch, and building a “Total Information Awareness” corporation by Thiel, with both, along with the Adelsons, waging Cognitive Warfare against the U.S. population on behalf of the US/Israeli Radical Right.

They’re worse than any NeoCon ever was in their total, unlimited, loyalty to the Israeli genocidal Right. And featured so often by the Quincy Institute/TAC who sponsor their PsyOp against Palestinians, and against the “minds” of the American public.

A good overview of Traditional Conservative, anti-Constitutional fanaticism (and Neoconservatism’s) is in the attached files. My judgment is much harsher than the author's however, particularly of what was in fact, the “Constitutional coup d’état” Kendall, Carey, M.E. Bradford, and others of that far-right ilk, launched as “Information War” against the "1789 Constitution” with its Bill Of Rights, to be superseded by their co-called “1787 Constitution,” absent the Bill of Rights. A political/legal theory now fully adopted by the "New Right”  of Trumpism/Vanceism, i.e., National Conservatism.

A “Battle of Ideas” which the Committee for the Republic has largely abstained from, though having Judge Luttig, who has come out against Trump, in to speak is a step in the right direction. Chapter 2 is a good overview of “Conservatism” but it is also valuable in showing the “Conservative rivalries” and ideological disputes, with the faction finally coming out on top being the aforesaid “Thought Control Conservatives” now heralded as "Trump’s precursors,” and the ones who had the greatest affinity for classical fascism!

But how “extreme-Israeli Radical Right” Trump/Vance are can be seen in the latest issues surrounding the campaign over what seems a “campaign consultant” Laura Loomer, an extreme-Islamophobe, even relative to Republicans in general! “You can’t make this s*** up!"
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4877506-laura-loomer-trump-criticism/

Now we have one of Trump/Vance ideological allies shooting someone over a protest disagreement:
https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/2024-09-13/ty-article/one-person-shot-during-scuffle-at-pro-israel-rally-in-boston-suburb-authorities-say/00000191-ea45-d962-a1b5-ef6fc3de0000

I seldom if ever recommend a TAC article but this is worth reading for what it describes of Trump’s “cognitive warfare” tactics, against DeSantis, and everyone else (which the author praises, as he does DeSantis):
https://www.theamericanconservative.com/what-i-saw-inside-the-desantis-campaign/
BLUF: "DeSantis, Goldberg wrote, was “making the mistake of believing that the primary race is about issues, while Trump instinctively understands that it’s about dominance… It will be about who is weak and who is strong.”
"On an important level, Goldberg was right. Trump has a genius for the politics of the subconscious, instinctively intuiting and exploiting the weak points in the public’s perception of his opponent’s brand.”

Classic Fascism!

Here’s the same TAC author, praising the pro-Israeli fascists shutting down speech protesting Israeli genocide, in the “finest Conservative Tradition”: https://www.theamericanconservative.com/the-right-finds-its-spine/
"Conservative groups embarked on an aggressive name-and-shame campaign against students and professors, compiling a “College Terror List” as a “helpful guide for employers”—and even trotting out a “doxxing truck” on Harvard’s campus."

But back to Trump collaborator Laura Loomer, inciting the kind of gun violence as occurred at the pro-Israel rally in Boston in Trump partner Miriam Adelson’s Israel Hayom! With no apologies for criticizing these right-wing fanatics, even if they may be present on this email list, as it has moved further and further to the far Right with its many Trumpites/NatCon fanatics!

'My fear is that innocent Jews will be killed across America'

In an interview with Israel Hayom, Laura Loomer says, "It's time for Jews to take this matter into their own hands and arm themselves, in case they find themselves in a violent situation with an Islamic Jew-hater."

In an interview with Israel Hayom taking place against the backdrop of violent anti-Israel protests in the US, right-wing activist Laura Loomer issued an ominous warning, urging American Jews to arm themselves in self-defense against what she claims is a rising tide of Islamic antisemitism actively enabled by the Biden administration. She shared her thoughts days after she confronted violent demonstrators in Manhattan "chanting death to America" and burning an American flag.

"For years, I have been exposing the rise of Islamic Jew-hatred in America," Loomer said. Some regard her as a far-right and accuse her of being an Islamophobe because of her stance on immigration and the fight against violent extremism. She recounted a harrowing experience at a Hamas rally in New York City where "I was surrounded by Hamas supporters and people waving Hamas flags in my face, telling me to kill myself."

Loomer directed fiery accusations at President Joe Biden and his administration for not acting against those threatening Jews. "My fear is that, their violence will continue to go unchecked and innocent Jews will be killed across America," she declared. "I do believe that the Biden administration and the radical Left want to see America fall, which is precisely why the Biden administration has remained completely silent about chants of death to America on college campuses by Muslim students and their supporters." Loomer added, "I personally believe that Joe Biden is willing to let Israel get annihilated."

Her proposed solution? "It's time for Jews to arm themselves. As we have seen, the Biden administration has declared war on the Jewish people, and as President Donald Trump has said, the Democrat party is the party of Jew-haters and Israel haters. It's time for Jews to take this matter into their own hands and arm themselves, in case they find themselves in a violent situation with an Islamic Jew-hater. The Second Amendment was created for self-defense, and it's time for all Jews in America to arm themselves, in case they find themselves in a violent situation with an Islamic Jew hater."

According to Loomer, Jews should "stock up on ammunition since our borders are wide open, and the Biden administration is now talking about giving work permits to Palestinians from Gaza, who wish to carry out their own version of October 7 here in the United States."

Laura Loomer is a controversial figure. A political commentator and activist, she has often been described as an Islamophobe because of her stance in support of Israel and her strong views on the war on terrorism. She has also taken a hardline on illegal immigrants and has been a vociferous critic of liberal groups. Some have accused her of promoting far-Right conspiracy theories and taking part in provocative demonstrations.

'The worst is yet to come': Shai Davidai says Columbia brainwashing 'like what happened in Germany'

The Israeli professor, who has been denied entry to the campus after pro-Palestinian protesters took over the public plaza, speaks out and warns that "a new batch of students" will soon arrive and increase threat to Jews. On President Minouche Shafik he says, "Every week she stays on the job translates into tens of thousands of dollars for her."

'The worst is yet to come': Shai Davidai says Columbia brainwashing 'like what happened in Germany'

"I didn't think something like this could happen in 2024. Every year the liberal and enlightened Americans post on their feeds and say 'never again', but they only mean 'never'," Israeli Columbia University Professor Shai Davidai tells Israel Hayom a day after he was barred from entering the campus after security officials told him he could be harmed by violent pro-Palestinian protesters who had taken over much of the campus.

The wave of antisemitism on US campuses had appeared to be fading away, but then, in mid-April, the opposite occurred: An extreme wave of hate swept through the Ivy League university. It quickly became the capital of anti-Israel protests among Americans, inspiring similar incidents worldwide.

"What has been happening here in recent days did not happen overnight. It was built over half a year in which they called for attacking Jews, encouraging an intifada, calling for violence; but no one was willing to address it," Davidai says, having become one of Columbia's harshest critics for its not safeguarding its Jewish students and faculty from violent provocateurs.

On Tuesday, Davidai was refused entry to the campus after security officials said they could not vouch for his safety, denying him the opportunity to go to work at the Management Division of Columbia Business School, where he teaches and researches.  The elite university's main court had been converted into a "tent city" hosting hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters without authorization, some wearing keffiyehs and waving signs calling for an intifada (uprising in Arabic).

"The tents came after the protesters understood the laws don't apply to them," Davidai told Israel Hayom. "They can invite terrorists to campus, and then they won't really remove them because they won't enforce it, and then they'll stay here. They can also publicly support Hamas without anything being done to them. So this time they said, "Let's take over the campus."

By the time Columbia University President Minouche Shafik testified before the US House in mid-April, protest tents had already been pitched all over the institution's main plaza.

"There is a process of brainwashing here with doctrine. Like how lawyers, doctors, and journalists in Germany suddenly supported the extermination of Jews and Hitler. We're talking about students and faculty who underwent a brainwashing process," Davidai added.  "This is indeed a similar process to what happened in Germany, but it is more accelerated due to social media and because the universities have given it their seal of approval," he adds.

Several days before the interview, NYPD officers entered Columbia to disperse the massive protests. Around 108 students were arrested for trespassing but were soon released. Davidai sees President Shafik as solely responsible for the chaos and severe harm to Jewish students' sense of security.

"The NYPD is ready and prepared to enter the campus and disperse the protests, but the only person choosing to keep the Hamas supporters inside and the police out is the university president," Davidai told Israel Hayom. "The police want to protect the Jewish students, but the university is not allowing it."

Davidai criticized the president for taking six months to publicly use the word 'Hamas' when she "finally admitted Hamas is related to all this during the hearing in the House but the university cares about two things – money and public relations. If they let the police in, it will hurt their public image."

Some of the arrested protesters were released and returned to the protest encampments. When asked why the president isn't learning from the backlash faced by the presidents of Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania over similar issues, Davidai responded: "She earns over $1 million per year. Every week she stays on the job translates into tens of thousands of dollars for her. She refuses to calm tensions not because she can't, but because she doesn't want to."

"We must remember – being a terrorist isn't just about holding a gun, rifle, or bomb. There are also terrorists whose method is directing terror. The main problem with terror is its unpredictability. Right now, the university is negotiating with terrorists, and we can't know what will happen next. The university is not clearing the illegal encampments because it is negotiating with the protest leaders. These 'leaders' are brainwashing the protesters, taking their phones, and forbidding them from speaking to the media, while the university administration negotiates with these Hamasniks."

Professor Davidai emphasizes the harm to Jewish students' security on campus and his frustration with the situation. "Most of them have already started leaving campus between Saturday and Sunday; they were simply afraid and fled. They were afraid for their lives, just like that. Most of them don't want to return to campus and I don't blame them. I also don't feel comfortable. I don't go near there, I saw the brainwashing that's going on there, and it's clear the university can't vouch for my safety. There are currently people on campus holding signs saying 'We support Hamas rockets, the Al-Qassam Brigades, here is your next target' with an arrow pointing at Jewish students. I'm not letting them try this on me."

Since October 7, the respected professor of social psychology and son of the founders of the cardiac pacemaker unit at Sheba Medical Center has been voicing his opinion towards the university and criticizing its conduct in the face of the displays of hatred on campus. His viral video speaking on the university plaza about the administration's refusal to speak out against student organizations supporting terrorism has taken the internet by storm in the war's early days. "I'm a lecturer, I'm Israeli, but above all, I'm a father, I have two beautiful children, and I'm speaking to you as a father. And I want you to know: We can't protect your children from student organizations supporting terrorism, because the president of Columbia University is not willing to speak out against student organizations supporting terrorism."

Davidai acknowledged that the viral video 'marked' him in the eyes of the prestigious institution's administration. "Since February, they've been investigating me to prevent me from speaking out against the administration. They're trying to frame me on the basis of that video, claiming I harassed students. But they also want to send a message to the other Jewish and Israeli professors – not to take a stance. The university is essentially telling them, 'If you do what Davidai did, then we'll treat you like Davidai.' But they thought that if they questioned me, I would be silent. The opposite turned out – I will not be silent. Unfortunately, this frightens the other Jewish professors.

"The commencement ceremony for the graduates is supposed to take place in about two weeks, but their families don't know what's going on. Will they be safe on campus? Will there even be an event? Personally, I don't know what will happen to my professional future, nothing is known, except for the fact that the university is not bringing in the police to disperse the occupation."

Professor Davidai believes "the worst is yet to come". He adds, "As long as we have Hamas-supporting lecturers on campus, the situation will not change. They are going to receive a new batch of students in August, whose minds they will also brainwash. So long as the law is not enforced and so long as they don't state that everyone needs to be protected, this will not change. It's very easy to close your eyes when it's about Jews, because we are a very small minority here, and they don't care about us. So they prefer to sacrifice us as an offering so that they can prove their liberalism."
