[Salon] Fwd: THE SCENE OF THE CRIME

I know there is at least one deadender here still convinced we could have "won" in Vietnam, because he told me so. But left unsaid, "if we had only committed a few more massacres." Like Israel "winning" in Gaza, with the same line of thinking as Ben-Gvir, et al.

This reminds me of my oral history interview with Brig. Gen. John Johns, who passed away October 18, 2024. I met him along with his close friend Lt. Gen. Robert Gard (whom I also have an oral history of which I will get online soon), years ago. I will get the complete John Johns interview edited and online soon, as I spent most of a day with him talking, and then talked into the night without recording it, so this just a snippet. But BG Johns was tasked late in the war with investigating every or almost all allegations of US war crimes in Vietnam, and confirmed virtually every one, if not all, of them. Another reason I don't trust any Traditional Conservative still maintain falsehoods about the war, or the rags that promote the lie that "Conservatives" are "Restrainers."

While I was on my YT channel, I might as well share this again. Seymour Hersh was a mutual acquaintance of both Bill Polk, John Johns, and presumably, LTG Gard.
