The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) are ready "to confront escalation with escalation," the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah movement stressed on Thursday, following a series of Israeli strikes that targeted the country.
Underlining that the YAF is ready to respond swiftly to Israeli aggression, the Political Bureau said that Sanaa is willing to defend itself against aggression no matter the cost.
Moreover, a statement released by the movement said that such strikes and attacks against the country "will not deter" the Yemeni people from supporting the Palestinian people and their Resistance in Gaza.
The strikes that targeted civilian infrastructure, including the Sanaa Airport, ports, and power stations, revealed the extent of "Israeli and American criminality," the Political Bureau added.
For its part, Sanaa's government affirmed the swiftness of the country's response to the Israeli aggression, noting that the government and affiliated forces will continue to work tirelessly to defend the country's "rights, dignity, and security."
The government also underlined its continued support for the Palestinian people.
According to the latest figures, six Yemeni citizens were killed and forty others were injured in strikes that targeted the cities of Sanaa and Hodeidah.
In a statement, the government affirmed its continued support for the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression on Gaza is stopped and the siege on its people is lifted.
Sources told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli aggression was executed with American and British assistance.
