[Salon] The Management of Savagery

My book, The Management of Savagery, details how the US national security state fueled the rise of Al Qaeda and ISIS, then weaponized them to weaken geopolitical rivals like Russia and Syria as it hyped up the terror threat to strip Americans of their rights. Israel and its domestic cutouts also played a pivotal role in the process.

The Syria regime change lobby attempted to pressure my publisher into pulling the book and bullied DC’s main political bookstore, @PoliticsProse

into cancelling the first event on my tour. The book’s only mainstream review came courtesy of a US intelligence asset, @lsmwilson, who was so irate with its contents, but so unable to refute them, that she spent over half the review attacking my Twitter timeline.

If my thesis had not been solid enough, it has been confirmed and vindicated beyond a doubt by major events of the past month, from the US and UK’s de facto recognition of the violent takeover of Syria by the founder of the country’s Al Qaeda chapter, to the extremely suspicious circumstances of the supposed ISIS attack in New Orleans, which has been exploited to justify everything from the US military’s illegal occupation of northeastern Syria to state repression of the Palestine solidarity movement.
