The Belgium-based Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) says its speaker, who had been invited to participate at the European Palestinian Network Conference taking place in Copenhagen today, had his invitation revoked.
It said the move came due to “information disseminated in the Israeli press, falsely linking us to resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine”.
“We deeply regret this outcome and wish to emphasise that the Hind Rajab Foundation is an independent organisation, legally recognised under Belgian law,” the organisation wrote on X.
“While our officials and volunteers are entitled to their personal views, our sole mission remains the pursuit of justice and accountability for the victims and perpetrators of this ongoing genocide,” it added.
The foundation, named after a five-year-old girl who was killed by Israel in Gaza, has used social media footage of Israeli soldiers committing alleged war crimes to hold them to account.
Over the past few weeks, HRF has been condemned by Israeli authorities for “doxing” soldiers who had filmed themselves.
