The champaign corks have been popping in the alt-Reality "Peace Camp," as can be seen here: And here:
But maybe that's premature, unless one is engaged in purveying alt-Right propaganda on behalf of National Conservatism, as so many are, leading to the complete tragedy of the Mideast today as compared to the almost complete tragedy under Biden, with the "National Conservative" (Republicans) politicians continuously denouncing Biden for his "weakness" for not giving Israel everything they asked for, and "Inciting Genocide" with calls to "Finish the Job." .
Here's are some reasons for why these alt-Right "expert's" celebrations may be premature, and why the "mainstream" Gloomy Gus's are equally wrong who claim Trump is surrendering to Russia. One thing I won't expect here is to see any substantive thinking, not after 10 years of right-wing historical revisionism which have made so many here incapable of "learning from history," as that presented here has almost totally been false, to include from the likes of David Stockman and every Committee for the Republic event where inevitably Teddy Roosevelt and his fellow Republican Imperialists are omitted from history to tell a revised history of Woodrow Wilson as warmonger, to shift blame from Teddy and the Republicans, which I say only to correct the false history always purveyed here, and not as a partisan Democrat. With that "revisionism" continuing to current events in re Russia. As the erasure of accurate US/Russia relations history from 2016-2021 ensured, with all the aggression Trump and President Duda admit was their policy against Russia now "airbrushed" from "history" in the retelling by the alt-Realists, and the so-called mainstream, it was foreseeable that the "Right" was reinvented as the "Peace Party," when nothing could be further from the truth! That's what the "Right" has always stood for: Militarism!
Plus, the "art" of reading or listening "critically," has been totally lost in lieu of wishful thinking so that what is being said here, can't even be "heard," as no one pays attention to what is actually said: Waltz even acknowledges occasionally that 45 was far more aggessive against Russia than 44, just as 47 is more than 46. But that goes completely beyond our alt-Right intell and journalistic "experts," just as it does to their opposing number who would have us launch an invasion of Russia this afternoon, like another former intell "expert" here seems to call for in the little spat here recently.
So, when unwitting, ignorant peace activists echo the former with their desire to end the wars, the blame should not be placed on them too heavily, it goes on the "antiwar experts," who now "own" what is going on in the Mideast now too, and the U.S., as they provided the mythmaking that shapes our "essential consciousness" through perception management (yes, that's what it's about, far beyond old Ed Bernays' archaic propaganda theory that "Boomers" still refer to, speaking as if they're experts. Today, as Karl Rove ostensibly said years ago, as Imperialists, "we make our own reality," in the People's minds where it matters the most!
Close that minerals deal with Zelensky and guess whose side the U.S. is on, with Europe paying vastly more for the war, and the U.S. pocketing the "profits."
‘BRILLIANT IDEA’: Trump praised for proposed Ukraine minerals deal
US won’t withdraw forces from Europe, Trump envoy assures PolandBLUF: "According to Duda’s account of the meeting, he and Kellogg discussed recent incidents linked to Russian hybrid warfare, as well as concerns about the future of American engagement in European defence. “There are absolutely no American intentions to reduce activity in our part of Europe, especially in terms of security, or to decrease the number of American troops,” Duda said. . . . "Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has insisted that European NATO members allocate at least 5% of their GDP to defence - a target Poland is close to meeting, with plans to spend 4.7% in 2025."
Perversely, it is President Trump's "antiwar" fans such as a couple at CodePink, and Max Blumenthal and Aaron Maté, and Antiwar.com's Scott Horton, contradicting or omitting from history all that President Trump did to "stand up" to Putin, throughout his first administration who conceal from us what President Trump himself takes credit for in waging war against Russia.
At the botton here was a campaign release it says but in fact it captures not even half of how much President Trump did in aggression against Russia. Michael Tracey is one of the few people who has brains enough to see that, unlike former intelligence officers on both sides of the Trump issue (whom I won't name but they had a little spat here the other day), each getting it wrong, which tells you why our country is FUBAR when we place so much reliance on intell "trained" people to interpret domestic politicians as they relate to foreign policy. Horton soils himself through most of this interview but Tracey doesn't hesitate to rebut his delusions. Critical points are between 9:00 and 27:? I had to work to avoid vomiting with Horton's worshipping panegyrics to Ron Paul, who's been so eager to join Musk with DOGE.
And of course, the full-partner of the New Right so favored here, is all over, with his partners, inciting war against China! A matter which gives no concern to the "experts" named above, even though war with China inevitably includes war against Russia as in what will genuinely be WW III, with war continuously incited against China by the so-called "Realists and Restrainers" such as a favorite here, Elbridge Colby.
