Transmitted below is a link to an extraordinary three-minute post by U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard in which she appeals to the public to "demand an end to this madness" of potential global nuclear annihilation being fomented by unspecified (but not specified as foreign) "politically élite warmongers".

One must wonder whether such eminent good sense, constituting "intelligence" in its most literal sense but unprecedented among high-placed officials of the U.S. government and antithetical to the interests of the dominant Hate, Fear and War Industry, will cost her her job.

One may also wonder whether she regrets having joined the Trump administration and has chosen an elegant way, consistent with her pre-Trump values and potentially constructive, to exit it.
