BRITAIN IS BACKING Benjamin Netanyahu in the Israel-Iran conflict, leader Keir Starmer admitted last night.
“We are moving assets to the region, including jets, and that is for contingency support in the region,” he told the press as he headed for a meeting of the G-7, known as "the rich nations club".
Although Starmer did not directly confirm that the British combat jets—Eurofighter Typhoons and Voyagers— would be siding with the Israeli military, analysts say this is undoubtedly the case.
Britain defended Tel Aviv in April and October last year, in a similar situation – when Israel unilaterally completed a devastating attack Tehran, which then tried to retaliate.
.
GERMANY TOO, SECRETLY
Germany is also siding with the Israeli army—but secretly. A German military aircraft activated its transponder over Jordan while refuelling Israeli fighter jets, with the German flag showing up on international monitoring stations.
The Germans, apparently realizing their mistake, turned off their military transponder after a few seconds, but it was too late.
"The participation of the German Air Force in defending Israel has been confirmed despite not publicly announcing its involvement," the Middle East Observer reported earlier today.
.
OPEN SUPPORT
The US, meanwhile, is openly supporting the Netanyahu operation, with air force and navy pilots allowing Israel to attack Iran, but intercepting any attempts at retaliation, using THAAD and Patriot systems.
Just minutes ago, Israel announced that it was continuing to attack nuclear power facilities in Iran.
"Air Force fighter jets recently completed an extensive wave of strikes in Tehran against several targets of the Iranian nuclear weapons project, including the headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, the headquarters of the nuclear project, and other targets," the statement said.
.
IRAN 'CANNOT WIN'
Israel already has an overwhelming strength advantage over Iran, which has been weakened and impoverished by decades of western sanctions.
Now, with the US, UK and Germany on Netanyahu's side, Iran is going to find it difficult to prevent the ruthless Israeli leader achieving his goal of turning the Middle East into "Greater Israel".
Israel and its Western allies already have a high degree of control over Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and significat portions of the other land in the region.
.
CHINA STAYS OUT
Meanwhile, a report on social media that China is sending a plane-load of weapons to Iran has been debunked.
The aircraft identified in the case was actually heading from China to Luxembourg.
But Beijing has not been silent. Israel should not be attacking nuclear power plant projects in Iran, a top Chinese official said. This is a dangerous act specifically forbidden under international law.
