The Israeli army said Friday it had assassinated Mohammad Khader al-Husseini, the commander of Hezbollah's rocket array in the Litani sector.
According to the IDF, al-Husseini was involved in rocket fire toward Nahariya, Haifa and other cities during the war, and had recently been working to rebuild Hezbollah's artillery capabilities.
