Transmitted below is a link to a 10-minute CNN news segment which, notably, reports on the "sea change" in sympathy for Israelis and Palestinians among rank-and-file Democrats in the United States.

The polling cited shows that between 2017 and now those responding to the question whether you sympahize more with Israelis or Palestinians has swung from +13% for Israelis to +43% for Palestinians (a 56-point swing) among all Democrats and from +14% for Israelis to +57% for Palestinians (a 71-point swing) among "young" (18-49) Democrats.

While there is as yet no sign that such numbers have shifted the allegiances of Democratic politicians in Washington, one may hope that, at some point, their calculations of their own personal self-interests (all that matters to almost everyone who enters American politics) require, finally, that they prioritize the interests of their own country and the wishes of the people they have been elected to represent over the desires of a foreign country viewed as a rogue, outlaw and pariah state by most of mankind.
