Ansarallah has already imposed a naval blockade on Israel-linked shipping, effectively disrupting the critical Red Sea–Arabian Sea route.

The Israeli military command reported early Tuesday that it had identified a missile launched from Yemen, prompting sirens to sound in several settlements across central Israeli-occupied Palestine around 1:00 AM local time.

Israeli authorities later claimed the missile had been intercepted. However, the strike marks another direct operation by Yemen in support of the Palestinian people, part of a broader campaign by Ansarallah to challenge Israeli military and economic interests in the region.

The group has pledged to continue its efforts until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege is lifted.

For their part, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday that their missile units had carried out a military operation targeting Lod (Ben-Gurion) Airport, located in Tel Aviv, using a “Palestine 2” hypersonic ballistic missile.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated that the strike had achieved its intended objective, causing “millions of usurping Zionists to flee to shelters” and temporarily halting operations at the airport.

Saree said the attack came in retaliation for the ongoing genocide and starvation in Gaza and in response to repeated Israeli settler incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. He affirmed that Yemen will persist in its military operations in solidarity with Gaza and the wider Palestinian cause.

In a separate statement on Sunday, Saree announced that Ansarallah’s drone forces had carried out three additional operations targeting Israeli sites. Two strikes reportedly hit military facilities in Tel Aviv and Askalan, while a third targeted the port of Haifa.

“These operations are a direct response to the brutal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza and to the violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque,” Saree said, stressing that Yemen’s leadership, people, and armed forces remain committed to their religious and moral duty to support the Palestinian people.

The group has vowed to escalate its actions until the siege on Gaza is lifted and Israeli attacks come to an end.
