[Salon] Dan Grazier: Why the Navy just sunk another one of its fleets



The Constellation class frigate program that was supposed to replace the failed LCS, has — surprise! — failed, too, representing a waste of 25yrs total and something like $70 billion in taxpayer funds. "It’s obviously too early to tell how long it will take officials to get yet another new ship into service.
