The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran has launched the 34th wave of Operation True Promise4, firing precision missiles equipped with warheads exceeding one ton against US and Israeli bases, according to an official statement.
The IRGC also reported that its air defenses intercepted a cruise missile launched by the US and "Israel" in the Markazi province, central Iran.
Earlier on Tuesday, Iranian air defenses reportedly intercepted and shot down several dronesbelonging to the United States and "Israel" across different regions of the country.
The IRGC’s Public Relations Office said three Hermes 900 drones were downed in Borujerd, in western Iran’s Lorestan province, in Sirvan, in the Kermanshah province, and in Qom, south of Tehran.
Additionally, air defenses shot down a Heron TP drone near Tehran and another of the same type in the Markazi province, central Iran.
In a related statement, the Iranian army emphasized that “operations carried out by drone and missile units are performing effectively in destroying enemy positions.”
Earlier on March 9, the Iranian Army announced that its forces carried out drone attacks on energy infrastructure in occupied Palestine, in retaliation for Israeli strikes on Iranian oil and gas depots and refineries.
In its 20th statement, the Iranian Army said it targeted oil and gas refineries, as well as oil depots in Haifa, adding that “Iran’s battle against the criminals of the United States and Israel, the killers of children, continues until the ultimate victory of justice over falsehood.”
Later, Iranian Army spokesperson Mohammad Akrami-Nia confirmed that the precise, guided operations carried out by the army’s drone units and the IRGC’s missiles are effectively destroying enemy positions, relying on modern technologies and advanced guidance and control systems. He noted that a significant portion of the enemy’s radar capability has been neutralized, making attacks on Israeli military bases in Haifa easier than before.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its ground forces launched five missiles at the US headquarters at Harir Base in Iraq’s Kurdistan region. Earlier reports from Al Mayadeen's correspondent indicated that the Harir Base had been heavily targeted by drone strikes in the area.
Yesterday night, the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 33rd wave of Operation True Promise 4, targeting US and Israeli military bases, sites, and installations. The operation was carried out under the slogan: “At your service, o Khamenei.”
According to statements released by the IRGC, the latest wave involved the deployment of a large number of solid-fuel Khyber Shikan missiles equipped with one-ton warheads. The force stated that all missiles reached their intended targets with precision.
The IRGC announcement also claimed that the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet was struck, while Tel Aviv, described in the statement as being “in the heart of the occupied territories,” was reportedly hit by more than ten missiles. The statement added that the strikes followed earlier warnings that “the sirens in the occupied territories would sound non-stop, one after another.”
Despite strict censorship by the Israeli military, the statement asserted that images showing explosions and missiles passing through “Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system” had begun circulating on social media.
Earlier, the IRGC also reported that the 32nd wave of Operation True Promise 4 had been conducted also under the slogan “At your service, o Khamenei,” describing a series of missile strikes directed at sites in the northern and central parts of the occupied territories, carried out through the launch of Qadr and Khorramshahr ballistic missiles against the designated targets as part of the ongoing campaign.
