'Mystery' Valdai Meeting Between Putin and Lukashenko Stirs Speculation Amidst Zelensky's Latest Threats

Simplicius    6/29/26

One of the most interesting updates surrounding the current Ukraine war escalations has been the ‘mysteriously’ abrupt visit of Belarusian president Lukashenko to Valdai yesterday for a meeting with Putin that has now spanned two days. The length and secrecy shrouding the meeting has caused various speculations, particularly given Belarus’s central focus recently amidst Zelensky’s major ongoing psyops meant to broaden the conflict and push Russia into a ceasefire Ukraine is in dire need of.

The meeting was reportedly unannounced and Kremlin spokesperson Peskov revealed that no official transcript or statements would be provided—which is certainly odd. “Officially” the agenda was said to include Union State matters, economic and trade agreements, etc. But the implication given the nature of the meeting is clearly that, instead, matters of grave military importance were discussed, which required Putin and Lukashenko’s direct face-to-face contact at Putin’s own private retreat.

We can therefore only logically infer that this was a kind of emergency meeting where the two leaders ironed out a coordinated plan as to how their respective countries should proceed militarily should Zelensky continue his upward spiral of provocations.

A matter that required such an immediate and private face-to-face meeting is certainly one justified in its urgency, a fact which further implies that Zelensky’s threats are serious enough, and have a high enough likelihood of materializing, as to require such a serious joint brainstorming session.

As previously seen, Zelensky has announced a new “campaign of terrors” lasting 40 days that is meant to be a kind of grandiose final arc to top the war. The ploy’s chief mechanic is obviously set to be a series of major escalations combined with an unprecedented information campaign to paint Russia as collapsing, and more importantly, Putin as being in the throes of an uprising. This is the age-old playbook used by Western intelligence agencies in Iran and elsewhere.

Few could have missed the massive propaganda push the past few days, wherein all the regime stooges and ‘useful idiots’ have been mobilized to pump 24/7 agitprop about Putin’s “imminent downfall”.

A few notable examples, culminating in the staged video of “Russian soldiers” announcing their intention to overthrow Putin:

CIA budgets aren’t what they used to be, apparently.

This campaign came coordinated with a series of laughably fake psyops from all the usual agents attempting desperately to stoke discontent, fear, and panic in Russia. Unfortunately for them, most of the attempts were immediately debunked and gained no traction whatsoever:

Ukraine attempted to combine the above ‘panic’ campaign with psyops of Ukrainian troops capturing parts of the Kinburn Spit adjacent to Crimea, which was supposed to symbolize the collapse of Russian resistance and the fleeing of Russian “occupiers” from Crimea entirely:

But the staged flag-drop via drone, which was quickly eliminated, failed to achieve any effect whatsoever other than laughter from the Russian side.

The crowning moment came when apparently whatever “usurper” the pro-Ukrainian stooges were building up as their salvation met an untimely and ignominious end.

An act in two parts:

The full post from the AteoBreaking account above goes:

The wife of military serviceman Alexander Lunin, who had previously declared his readiness to stage a mutiny against Vladimir Putin, reported that after his departure for Moscow, a search was conducted at their home overnight.

According to her, police officers seized "everything they found": flash drives, computers, laptops, a disk, and nunchucks. Lunin himself has stopped communicating. Unverified reports are also circulating online claiming that he allegedly died as a result of alcohol poisoning. There is no official confirmation of this information at the moment.

Well, that was quick.

What’s obvious is that all of the above are part of a massively pre-scripted and coordinated information campaign set to the beat of Zelensky’s “40 days of terror” that was meant to culminate in a Kremlin palace coup. But the danger isn’t over yet, because it’s clear that Ukraine intends to continue escalating massively in the use of strikes to raise the pressure on Russia as part of this script. Many even believe that the final ‘coup de grace’ of the campaign is meant to be a mass strike on the Kerch bridge itself, which would be a perfectly scripted climactic flourish meant to coincide precisely with every converging info campaign about Putin’s downfall and mass unrest within Russia.

The truth is that many of the issues like the fuel and gas shortages were proven to be largely due to the panic buying that resulted from these info campaigns, rather than shortages themselves. Several prominent accounts from Russia showed people hoarding disproportionate amounts of gasoline at gas stations because they believed a shortage was imminent, which conversely created the shortage due to the spiking demand. Virtually everyone who went to a gas station came armed with a bevy of petrol canisters to take more than their fill.

Perfect case in point—and this was posted by Ukrainian accounts who didn’t even realize it flies in the face of their own claims of Russian crisis:

A new trend is emerging amid Russia's fuel crisis. Fuel resellers are somehow buying fuel in bulk despite sales restrictions and then reselling it privately at huge markups.

In this case, from Rostov, one of them drained an entire gas station dry with his homemade fuel truck.

They then advertise the fuel on social media and resell it at massive markups, further worsening an already severe fuel shortage. They even advertise it as an advantage, telling customers they won't have to spend hours waiting at gas stations.

For some people, that may even sound tempting, considering that waiting 4, 8, or in some cases even 12 hours for fuel has become a reality.

Or this.

You see massive scalping by people who drain entire gas stations in one swoop—and then it’s attributed to “gas shortages” from Ukrainian strikes.

One of the key signifiers of this entire plot was Zelensky’s announcement yesterday that the critical component rests on the G7 “approving” something for Ukraine that has to do with Crimea:

What we can infer is Zelensky is awaiting either some kind of “permission” from his G7 sponsors to attack the Kerch bridge or stage some other type of false flag or provocation, or perhaps awaiting the delivery of some kind of weapons system necessary for that act. One such system that comes to mind of course is the German Taurus missile, which had long been rumored to be on the table for delivery precisely for hitting this bridge due to the Taurus’s unique proximity fuse technology that makes it ideal for bridge destruction.

And note Zelensky again reiterates that the big final blow of this operation—for which he’s awaiting this G7 “permission” of some kind—is meant with one goal in mind: to bring Russia to the negotiating table, i.e. to effect an immediate ceasefire. Ukraine is not attempting to militarily “defeat” Russia in any way anymore: the vast majority of Ukrainian strike drones are now sent not at military targets but various Russian civilian infrastructure nodes in far away hinterlands like Siberia that have little to no effect on the frontline. Virtually all Ukrainian effort is now expended not on the frontline, but on the hybrid info-war to try and foment some kind of political revolt within Russia.

But even if Putin were to be in “trouble” of some kind, the key fact the West misses is that a coup would much more likely bring in hardliners who would turn the military pressure up to “maximal” on Ukraine, if not destroy all of Ukraine entirely. For some bizarre reason, Zelensky and his sponsors imagine that someone even more “doveish” than Putin will take over and immediately withdraw Russian forces from the front. Such thinking exposes a total disconnect from the realities on the ground in Russia itself, where recent Ukrainian provocations have only strengthened the sentiment of maximal military triumphalism against state “404”, rather than defeatism.

Virtually every transmission from Zelensky is now entirely centered on urgently forcing an immediate ceasefire:

Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський@ZelenskyyUa

Russia must get out of Ukraine with its war – we want no war. Ukraine has put forward proposals to our key partners, and Putin’s friends have also heard from us that a meeting is possible and that ending this war is possible. Russia must now take that step toward peace.

Read the words again: we want no war, we want a meeting with Putin, etc. Oddly submissive language from a country on the brink of total victory over a Russia putatively brought to its “knees”.

In fact, in a new interview Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky just revealed two key things:

Firstly that he’s skeptical of the notion that Ukraine is actually “turning the tide” against Russia, as propagandists have popularized of late:

And even more revealingly, that the size of Russia’s military contingent on the front continues to grow:

Here he states Russian forces now number over 721k in Ukraine, a big bump over the 600k announced in 2025:

And the 710k announced by Syrsky six months ago.

So, Russia clearly continues to gain troops on the front—a stark refutation of the claim that Russia is now losing more troops than it can recruit.

Now in timely fashion, and hot on the heels of his ‘mysterious’ Valdai retreat with Lukashenko, Putin has released another set of quite interesting quotes.

Here he tells Zarubin that Ukraine actually sought to get Russia to limit the fighting of the SMO to only the Donbass. In essence, Zelensky wanted Russia to play within a set of ‘bounded’ territories for the more than obvious purpose of neutering Russia’s “death by a thousand cuts” boa constrictor strategy.

If you paid attention to the Syrsky video above, you’d note he specifically mentions Russia’s “thousand cuts” strategy as the chief one being employed by Russia on the front:

And in fact, Putin even reportedly said Ukraine tried to propose a limit on long-range strikes, something I had long predicted would happen after Russia finally began to respond reciprocally.

The fact that Putin rejected this tells you everything you need to know about who’s winning the long-range strike campaign.

But the true bombshell comes at the end of the next segment. Putin remarks that Ukraine—as part of Zelensky’s new Hollywood “season” of provocations—will attempt to stage some special forces raids, presumably on Crimea, with the intent of claiming some kind of initiative or the fallback of Russian troops. And then comes the bombshell: He states Russia will continue plying its offensive until it captures both Donbass and Novorossiya.

Panicking Ukrainian accounts immediately spelled out precisely what this means:

To my knowledge, this may be the first time Putin has so directly suggested that Russia will in fact be liberating everything up to and including Odessa.

The fact is that Russia is beginning to accelerate its offensive pace again. It is capturing more territory, growing its army to such an extent that even top Ukrainian accounts are shocked.

If you recall statistics published a month or so ago, we saw that Russia appears to be taking less losses than ever before. All these converging data points seem to tell us that Ukraine’s war effort is deteriorating and Russia has again gained the initiative, which explains all the current hysterical theatrics and unprecedented Hollywood psyops from Zelensky and his Brussels stage managers.

Now Russia has accelerated the destruction of Ukrainian fuel infrastructure as response to Ukraine’s targeting of Russian refineries, and this is creating real problems on the frontline, according to Ukrainian energy expert Sergei Kuyun:

Due to Russia’s attacks on the frontline territories of Ukraine, there are problems with fuel supplies

Ukrainian fuel expert Sergei Kuyun stated that fuel supply disruptions are beginning to occur in the frontline territories of Ukraine.

According to him, fuel truck drivers are refusing to carry out deliveries due to the constant threat of drone strikes.

To reduce risks, protective nets and mobile shelters for personnel are being used, but their effectiveness, according to Kuyun, remains limited.

The current situation is complicating the provision of fuel to areas located near the line of contact in the conflict zone.

It continues to be certain that Ukraine will inflict more damage on Russian infrastructure during the course of this latest heightened campaign of desperation from Zelensky, but all it has done so far is caused a vast increase of reciprocal pain onto Ukrainian infrastructure which could doom the country.

But for now, we sit and wait in anticipation for the “final act” of Zelensky’s grandiose production, which is sure to burn through his last stack of CIA ransom money.
