Yemeni forces release 39-min footage from wide-scale military op.

Yemen’s Military Media on Saturday released footage from the large-scale military operation “Allah Is Stronger in Might and More Severe in Punishment,” showing Yemeni Armed Forces advancing along multiple fronts simultaneously.

The footage showed Yemeni forces regaining control of several areas, while one fighter said the forces were “now driving the enemy out of its positions” and preparing to liberate the remaining areas.

The operation, according to the footage, involved coordinated movements across several axes.
Yemeni forces ambush military convoy
The Yemeni Military Media's footage also showed a carefully planned ambush targeting a force consisting of 10 military vehicles as they attempted to flee.

During the ambush, one fighter was heard saying, “Behold the enemy armored vehicles burning.”
The footage also showed the downing of a drone belonging to the Saudi regime during the operation.

Other scenes showed Yemeni fighters saying that the enemy had used a school as a military barracks.

Footage shows Yemeni advances, operations
Among the feats shown in the footage are the following:
- Fighters advance through the mountainous Jebel Habashi area and deploy heavy weapons and drones.
- Yemeni Armed Forces ambush retreating Saudi-led coalition-aligned forces, destroying several vehicles and capturing personnel.
- Fighters storm and clear fortified positions inside Khalid bin Walid School, seizing weapons, ammunition, communications equipment, and other military gear.
- Destroyed and burned military vehicles following several ambushes on fleeing forces.
- Fighters inspect captured personnel and equipment and secure the surrounding wreckage.
- The capture of Jebel Tariq military camp, including armored vehicles, radar systems, and other military hardware left behind.
- Fighters clear remaining positions and uncover ammunition caches, barracks, and intelligence material.
The operation concludes with fighters and commanders celebrating the complete capture and clearance of the area.
Al Mayadeen dissects Yemeni military operation
Al Mayadeen’s bureau chief in Yemen said the footage released from the operation was preliminary, with further footage still in the possession of the Yemeni Armed Forces.
He said the Yemeni military had been preparing for the battle for an extended period and had extensive knowledge of the region’s terrain.
The correspondent described the reported liberation of 5,400 square kilometers within a week as a remarkable development, saying the Yemeni Armed Forces had employed a direct military tactic despite the potential losses involved.
He also said the Yemeni military leadership had issued binding instructions to treat prisoners and residents of recaptured villages humanely and ethically.
5,400 km² retrieved: YAF detail western coast gains
Yesterday, the Yemeni Armed Forces said a large-scale operation launched on September 3 along Yemen’s western coast expelled Saudi-backed forces from six districts across Taiz and Hodeidah governorates, covering 5,400 square kilometers.
The operation, carried out with support from local tribes, resulted in hundreds of Saudi-backed personnel being killed, wounded, or captured, while several Yemeni detainees held for years were also freed.
YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the operation followed years of attacks on local communities and was aimed at driving out Saudi-backed forces and preventing attempts to impose Saudi control over Yemeni territory. He said Yemeni forces struck seven military divisions comprising 38 brigades and secured the retaken areas.
The YAF said their ground operations continued despite intensive Saudi air support, while their air defenses carried out 32 operations and reportedly downed nine aircraft.
They also reaffirmed that maritime navigation remains safe for all vessels except Saudi ships covered by its announced ban, pledging to maintain its “blockade for blockade” policy and respond to escalation with escalation until the aggression and blockade on Yemen end.
