Yemen vows to continue targeting Saudi airports and oil facilities

The Yemeni Armed Forces' spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on October 14 the details of Sanaa's response to Saudi aggression against Yemen on Tuesday evening.

"The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a special military operation targeting Aramco’s facilities in Dhahran in the Eastern Province, King Khalid International Airport, and the Aramco refinery in Riyadh," he said in a video statement.

The spokesperson added, "The operation involved a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones. By the grace of Allah, the strikes hit their targets accurately, causing destruction and fires at the targeted sites."

"The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that their operations deep inside Saudi territory will continue over the coming days, targeting the Saudi enemy’s airports and oil facilities. The consequences will be severe for it, by Allah’s will and power," Saree added.

The Brigadier General added that the Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that their operations will continue over the coming days, "targeting the Saudi enemy’s airports and oil facilities. The consequences will be severe for it, by Allah’s will and power."

"The Yemeni Armed Forces hereby warn all international shipping companies, as well as civilians and workers at those airports and companies, to stay away from these sites and evacuate them immediately, as they have become legitimate targets for our Armed Forces," the statement continued.

Saree reaffirmed that Sanaa will continue to follow the military equation of "blockade for blockade, escalation for escalation," and continue to target Saudi military buildups "until the aggression against our beloved country stops and the blockade is lifted."

Saudi Arabia’s Energy Ministry said on October 14 that a “limited fire” broke out at an Aramco administrative building in Dhahran, eastern Saudi Arabia, after the facility was targeted on Tuesday evening.

It added that the fire caused no injuries and that the relevant authorities responded to the incident.

Saudi state news agency SPA, citing the Civil Defense, reported that falling debris following the interception of a cruise missile in Riyadh injured four people and caused limited material damage.

Saudi launched 104 airstrikes in 24hrs

Late Tuesday, Saree announced that Saudi forces carried out 104 airstrikes across Yemenover the past 24 hours, noting that the raids bombed the governorates of Sanaa, Dhamar, Taiz, Amran, Lahj, al-Jawf, Marib, Saada, and Hodeidah.

Yemen's Health Ministry reported that two civilians were martyred, and two others were wounded when a Saudi attack hit the Yemeni Oil Company in the Ras Isa area of Hodeidah.

In a separate incident, three citizens were martyred after an unexploded remnant of the Saudi aggression detonated in the Hays district, south of Hodeidah, per Saba News Agency.

Saba News Agency further reported that Saudi strikes over the years of aggression have destroyed more than 571 fuel stations across the country, along with 644 fuel tankers.

It added that the aggression has involved 300,000 Saudi airstrikes, which have hit homes, residential neighborhoods, markets, hospitals, and schools.
