[Salon] US ambassador accuses Germany of ′undermining′ NATO on nuclear | News | DW | 14.05.2020

I know people hate nuance, but stretching the “time horizon” we see the U.S. war against Russia extending over, let us not forget the “provocations” the Russians had to see emanating from the Trump administration (and Obama’s, and Bush II) notwithstanding all the efforts Trump and his Trumpites put into war with China first, as with Tucker Carlson’s propaganda efforts to instill hatred of China, always a prerequisite for war, according to Clausewitz. With Biden following the Trump script to a “T,” except for Russia’s fear that Biden would put Trump’s massive military build-up to use against them before China, resulting in a doomed military operation, doomed largely due to the massive military build-up Trump was responsible for. With U.S. weapons in readiness to be given to the Ukrainians, including the Azov Battalion that Trump did nothing to interfere with, choosing only fights with Ukraine over self-serving issues.

Ignoring that is like ignoring all the factors which went into WW I, long before a shot was fired. 

Contrary to Democrat’s and Never-Trumper's misdirectional partisan arguments, Trump was using as much coercion as he could get away with against Europe to boost their military spending, for what is in fact, a sub-unit of the US military, we call NATO. Trump’s pushing on them was an additional buildup of US weaponry facing off against Russia, not a “withdrawal” of the US from Europe. And now that same US military is doing the same for Biden as they were doing for Trump; everything possible to provoke war with Russia while we have the greatest military advantage over them, that they were afraid could slip away before we could have the final victory over them, necessary per the Cheney/Wolfowitz Doctrine. But politicians all want to constrain our thinking to “information silos,” and not see the intersectionality of US war on one side of the world, to the same on the other side. 

But here is there Trump strategy in a nutshell. Let’s not withhold “credit” from Trump, and the Trump Movement, where such credit is due! And Trump named Grenell DNI, having shown the way for those who were to follow him as Ambassador to Germany.
